Privacy policy
What we collect when you use Golf Calculator App, and what we do with it. The short version: very little.
Last updated
This policy covers golfcalculatorapp.com ("the site", "we" and "us").
The numbers you enter
The golf calculators run entirely in your web browser. The scores, distances and other numbers you type are worked out on your own device. They are not sent to us, not stored and not shared.
Cookies
The site does not set any cookies.
Cloudflare
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, a network that serves websites quickly and protects them from attacks. To do that, Cloudflare processes your IP address and the details of each request. We also use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not follow you across other websites. Cloudflare's use of this data is covered by the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our web server and Cloudflare keep standard access logs. For each request they record:
- your IP address
- the date and time
- the page or file requested
- your browser type, and the page that linked to us
We use these logs only to keep the site running and secure and to stop abuse. They are kept for a limited time and then deleted. We don't use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.
Analytics and advertising
Apart from Cloudflare Web Analytics, we don't use any analytics or advertising services. If that changes, we will update this policy before they are switched on and name the services used.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Sharing your information
We don't sell, rent or trade personal information. We only share it if the law requires us to.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, or to object to how we use it. To make a request, email [email protected].
Children
The site is not aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Links to other websites
Pages on this site link to other websites. We are not responsible for how they handle your information, so please read their own privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
